LUCKY to be Kosher in the Bay Area

by, Linda Korn

I just returned from a visit to the Bay Area, and am delighted to report that the LUCKY supermarket in Los Altos, CA has the most wonderful selection of Kosher foods. Don't ask me why, but this market seems to have someone in the know on their buying staff.
A good model for other markets to follow, this Lucky has discovered that the "Kosher Aisle" need not be limited to Manishevitz noodles and dry soup mix.
There is a whole array of healthy and delicious food choices that make up much more than an aisle.
You'll find everything from snacks to kosher meats to deserts and staples; you may need only one stop to satisfy your kosher yearnings.
Lucky had all the items we needed for a delicious thanksgiving, and that is surely something to be grateful for.
Despite the current economic recession, I feel LUCKY.
